Andy Schmidt is a visionary advocate for workers and he has pioneered many cutting-edge legal theories to advance workers’ rights in the courts. He now lives in Maine where he runs a private law firm focused on workers’ rights and civil rights, but continues to serve Towards Justice as counsel and as a strategic advisor on litigation matters. His outside the box thinking, has opened up legal paths for au pairs, truck drivers, and fast food workers to fight unfair labor practices. Andy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College and the UVA School of Law and was selected as a New England Superlawyer in 2018
