Reneé Lopez

Intake Specialist & Legal Assistant

Reneé Lopez was born and raised in Colorado and proudly identifies as a first-generation Latina student. Reneé graduated from Colorado State University in December 2021, where she majored in Communications and minored in Legal Studies. She is hopeful in soon to be attending law school for Fall 2023.

Reneé is passionate about giving back to her community. She currently volunteers with Realities for Children, a non-profit organization that helps at-risk children in Northern Colorado through advocacy work. Her volunteer worth with RFC made her realize that she could truly help vulnerable and underserved people by fiercely advocating for them. However, Reneé has always known that she aspired to speak on behalf of the many in our society who are voiceless, and that aspiration has become her motivation for pursuing a career in law. She hopes that as an attorney she can not only add some necessary diversity to the legal field but also inspire other first-generation Latina students to do the same.

Reneé is also a Court Appointed Specialist Advocate for the 8th Judicial District.
